The pattern includes charts for both cat- and dog-themed socks.

The socks are knitted in stranded knitting on five double-pointed needles from the cuff down. The pattern uses a reinforced Dutch heel and a round toe. The gusset decreases are positioned under the foot. You can knit mismatched socks or socks with only cats or only dogs; the pattern that is available for purchase includes charts for all options.

SIZE
Women’s size approx. 38 European / U.S. 7.5, circumference of the calf approx. 35–39 cm / 13.8–15.4 in., length of the leg to beginning of heel approx. 37 cm / 14.6 in.

YARN
Fingering weight sock yarn (50 g / 200–210 m)

• Color A dark, approx. 95 g
• Color B light, approx. 70 g
• Color C light, approx. 3 g

NEEDLES
Set of five double-pointed needles, 2 mm / U.S. size 0 for ribbing and stockinette and 2.5 mm / U.S. size 1.5 for stranded knitting

GAUGE
33 sts and 36 rounds of stranded knitting = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in. Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
